Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's multifaceted career spans from renowned athlete to award-winning actor and author of "The Rock Says…," a New York Times bestselling book. His upbringing involved a lot of traveling and watching his father perform in the wrestling ring. In his high school years, Dwayne developed an interest in football and subsequently earned a full scholarship for the University of Miami as a defensive tackle. However, the allure of the wrestling ring proved too strong to resist.

As a third-generation wrestler, hailing from a family with numerous uncles, cousins, and relatives involved in wrestling, Johnson found his calling early. His father, professional wrestler Rocky Johnson, also served as his trainer. During his career from 1996 to 2004, and later between 2011 and 2019, Dwayne accumulated a total of seventeen championship reigns and holds the record for most WWF Championship wins. He is currently signed to WWE, performing on a part-time basis as a member of The Bloodline.

Off the wrestling ring, Johnson has had an equally successful career in Hollywood, with global box-office earnings exceeding $10.5 billion. His work includes films such as San Andreas and the critically acclaimed HBO series "Ballers," both of which have made him an international sensation. Other notable projects include Central Intelligence, Baywatch, Big Trouble in Little China, and The Janson Directive. He also lent his voice to the animated films Moana and Moana 2 and starred in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level.

Not just an actor and wrestler, Johnson is also an accomplished businessman. He co-founded the entertainment production company Seven Bucks Productions in 2012 and is a co-owner of the United Football League (UFL). Additionally, Johnson founded Teremana Tequila, a venture that has elevated his status in the business world. Additionally, Johnson released a line of men's skincare and grooming products under the name Papatui with science-backed, clean ingredients.

Johnson's return to WWE in March 2012 was record-breaking, where he triumphed over John Cena at Wrestle Mania XXVIII in Miami. Since retiring from professional wrestling in 2019, he has made sporadic returns to WWE, including appearances on WWE SmackDown and WWE Raw.

Johnson's achievements extend beyond the wrestling ring and film set. His commitment to philanthropy led to the creation of the Rock Foundation in 2006, which aims to empower children globally through health and physical fitness.
